The kidnapping of Captain Richard Phillips is finally over. At 12:19 PM on Easter Sunday, United States Navy seals opened fire on the three pirates who were pointing their AK47s toward the Captain, killing all three of them simultaneously. The fourth pirate, who is described as 'not old enough to be tried as an adult', was on board the USS Bainbridge negotiating the Captain's release. The Commander of the Bainbridge was given the green light by Washington to take whatever action necessary to insure the safety of Captain Phillips. The determination was made that the hostage was in imminent danger, and the order to take them out was given. With three precision simultaneous head shots, the pirates were history and Captain Phillips was a free man.
