Big Excuse, Little Thought!

Haven't yet read the article on the interview of the woman in California who recently had the octuplets. Supposedly she stated her reasoning for having so many children is that she always wanted to have many kids. So much for the excuse half, but the thought portion will last a lifetime. She obviously never gave much of it (thought, that is) to what the future would bring not only her, but all of these innocent kids. In the interview she said she will eventually be able to afford them once she completes her schooling. Hey lady, NO schooling will make this road easier; especially in these hard economic times.

When Is Enough Enough?

Can anyone explain to me how a single woman, who is only thirty three years old, winds up with fourteen children. After giving birth to eight babies earlier this week, it was announced that she had six other children. Apparently all the kids were fathered by different men. Now it is not my intent to preach to anyone on how many kids they should or should not have, but I'm reminded of what the late Grouch Marx once said to a contestant on his 'You Bet Your Life' show when she said she had ten children. Grouch responded "Lady I love my cigar, but I take it out of my mouth once in a while".
